Mohamed is the Financial Information Guidance Officer (FIGO) for MoneyPLUS at Action Deafness (formerly deafPLUS). He provides one-to-one support in BSL to deaf people facing debt, budgeting and banking difficulties. Since May 2026 he has supported more than 180 people and helped clients avoid scams before money was lost. Drawing on his own lived experience as a deaf person, he helps shape how Signing Banks UK makes financial information clearer and more accessible for deaf customers.
